Do you log what you eat? People are bad at estimating things.. If you don't gain weight, chances are you're not eating enough. Could be thyroid problems too though..
"OBSESSED" is the word lazy people use to describe the "DEDICATED."

If your not gaining weight then you are simply not eating enough food. Track your diet for a few days and see how much food you are consuming.

Often when people describe heavy eating, it turns out they are eating like 1-2 big huge meals today with a few snacks. They'll nail down a tiny bowl of breakfast cereal, maybe toast, juice, and like some nasty lunch from fastfood, then a pretty big dinner and maybe some other snack along the way. It usually equates to under 2000 calories. You'll definitely need to list whatyou are eating.

I could eat 4,000 - 5,000 cals a day.
OMG, I can't wait to bulk up. So easy. Eat, eat, eat, and eat.

when I was your age I couldn't gain weight either. I ate huge amounts of food and never seemed to put on weight until I turned 17. At your age I'm sure your metabolism is very high, so that's your main issue. Try some sort of homemade weightgainer. I seem to recall seeing recipes on this site somewhere.

Hey i think you just need extra calories in your diet. I really reccomend a homemade weight gainer, this will help you get those extra calories in. I think you should make your own homemade gainer instead of buying, because you can put better stuff in it like oats for carbs instead of sugar. You can have it twice a day with like 800 cals per each serve !
I know too well your situation....when i was in my teenage yrs, i was so skinny and weak it was laughable and looked horrible
Bodybuilding is the def answer to rectifying this prob.

I am 5'10", 182 pounds and a lot of muscle and it seems like I can lift more than everyone in my gym and those that I've competed against (which obviously wasn't professional level). Here's the thing, though; bodybuilding isn't the solution to all your problems. If you're a loser, you'll be a loser for the rest of your life unless you do something about it. People always seem to want to put their blame on foolish things that have no relevance to the source of the problems - in this case, bodybuilding. Just grow a pair and man up. Most people on this forum have this problem. They spell like five year olds the only language they speak and wonder why they work at McDonalds despite being "world-class lifters."
