    Contest Prep Diet?

I am currently preparing for my first ever competition- a novice figure show. I'm 13 weeks out and doing well with the diet. (Luckily, I don't have alot of weight to lose.) I think I'm going to go crazy from the plain, rubbery grilled chicken and cans of tuna, not to mention those plain rice cakes... It's hard to come up with new ways to cook it without adding extra ingredients. Does anyone have any suggestions that might make eating more enjoyable?

if you think you're sick of it now, wait another eight weeks! just remember you are eating to achieve a goal, but you could try some salt free mrs. dash, it comes in tons of different flavors.

    good luck!

    Thumbs up

Someday is onto something here. Mrs. Dash is the bomb. I have the Seasoning that tastes like lowery's and put it on everything (Egg whites , meats, chicken, Fish). Only thing that keeps me sane.

use seasonings! cajun/blackened chicken is delicious! its high in sodium so don't use it the last few days before the competition. balsamic vinegar and olive oil mixed into tuna makes it tastier (add diced celery and onions) but will give you kickin' breath.
