    smoking cigars?

    Occasionally I like to smoke a cigar.. maybe once a month at most .... just wondering what effects cigar smoking (key being not inhaling) has on hormone levels (or anything else related to bodybuilding)??

    I know once a month probably doesn't matter much... but just curious at what the effects are.

    i don't believe it would have any effects on hormone levels. not sure though. the biggest affect that smoking has on your body is that it decreases your lung capacity. smoking once a month won't make a huge difference, but it'd be best if you just didn't smoke at all.

    I enjoy cigars on occation as well. Not a big deal, but I avoid them more because I do feel them affect my health.

    Dude, you need to do things you like. Are you a pro bodybuilder? If not, then what are you worrying about? If you like smoking cigars, then smoke them. You gotta do stuff you enjoy.

    I smoke them once or twice a week...and it doesn't affect me. Now ask me in about 40 yrs when my lungs are half rotted out, and I'll probably have a different answer for you..lol.
