    Question BCAAs pre-workout and uric acid

    I read that taking BCAAs before the workout is not good because every gram of BCAAs causes 05,gr of uric acid when the BCAAs are metabolized as energy during the workout. The book where I read it is already a few years old and I don't know if this might have been disproven or not but if it's still true then I guess taking BCAAs pre-workout and also during the workout isn't very healthy.
