are you aware that Shaq is 7'1'' and was been roughly 350 pounds? That is a large human being. I guarantee he has benched 455...
And Tiger benchign 315 isn't that far fetched... he is in incredible shape. He's pretty good sized, especially for a golfer.
You guys are funny, you can't just judge someones bench by what they look like, especially when wearing clothes. And it's not like these are people you see every day, you see them on tv... many are much taller and larger than you would expect

its funny how much bs this thread has in it... this is more like a what has everyone been rumored to bench, or what magical bench numbers did someone make up for these people, and then spread? I'd say most of the numbers are bull****. Larry Allen... he bench pressed witha powerlifting bench shirt, and had people help him. Bench shirts are known to add up too hundreds of lbs to ur bench press. They have suits for squats and deadlifts as well. And funny how the OP listed the world record raw bench press for mendelson, but shirted for allen... Scot Mendelson has bench pressed over 1000 lbs with a shirt, and rychlak has done 1010 lbs. And ya arnold has said before he did 500 lbs before, might have been just a little bit over 500, but I know it's at least 500 lbs. Now if he got these numbers wrong, or whoever made them up, I can guarantee u they got others wrong, lots of them. Especially since it's known that arnold did 500 lbs or more, and the record is over 1000 lbs... and that allen did his with a shirt.
