Full body training or not...?
Hallo...i have been training totaly about 4 months...last 2 months i am training full body each time i go to gym...which is every 2nd or 3rd day...i tried to make these, maybe someone will call them too big pauses, but i thought that that would prevent overtraining...anyway, for that time, i made some, but pretty small progress..about 10lbs on bench press...
my training is like this:
pull ups, pull downs - back
bench press
flat barbell - biceps
laying extensions, dips-triceps
shoulder press,front raise-sholuders
...
i do every set with (mine) maximum weight after warming up, so that i do maximumly 3 sets of each exercise (i try to do it to failure), about 6-8 reps, sometimes 4...
i was taking whey protein(80 % concetrate, biotech, ultimate...)...tryed weider creatine, but seems that i was using not enough...
so...should i give up of full body trainings and split it, and how?thanx...

what about legs? also can you hit the gym about about 3-4 times a week? try doing bicep and back on the same day and chest and tri on another.. if you find alot of gains with your routine then do it.. atleast incorporate some leg exercises though.

You're missing the three core, essential lifts of a full-body routine: deadlifts, squats and dips.
You'll want to work those three exercises in somewhere, and you could do without the front shoulder raises and behind the neck pulldowns - I'd also replace the pullups with moderate-grip chins - but other than that it looks solid.
So long as you perform it three days a week at the most, you'll have plenty of time to recover, and your body will explode with growth from all the anabolic hormones being produced by heavy compound lifts.

Yes sir. It might help if you give him a copy of the two stone tablets from which you are reading.
As for your ridiculous split....can you spell 'overtraining?'

How do you know it's overtraining iceberg?
Don't believe he actually posted what lifts, sets, reps he is actually doing.

Why, it's overtraining because he's advocating training 4 days in a row without adequate time for recovery, iceberg's-number-one-fan.

Gee, I don't know, your old user name perhaps?
Obsessed, no. Just find it funny that you continue to act like a member here by the name of the iron lord, even under your new user name, but think that no one is smart enough to know you're a fake.
Still though, and back on topic, you did make a good point earlier. Compounds do need to be the bread and butter of a full body routine. Something like leg extensions, leg curls, kickbacks, and abs doesn't make a whole lot of sense in the scheme of abreviated training.

With all do respect though, he may, and I think he did mean, that those training days would not all be in a row. Something like m,t,th,f. If not, then you are right, that would be overtraining.

Full body workouts stupid? Um no, and neither are split routines.
How do you think that you dont hit all body parts while on a full body routine? Hmm, let me see, chins will hit back and bis. Bench press will hit chest/tris/shoulders, etc, etc.
Geez, you've made me feel dirty for having to side somewhat now with a person on my tosser list. I hope you are proud.

lol sounds like you don't know your stuff very well
full body workouts are great... i have been using one for 3 months and my gains have never been better. You should speak to Chadd Waterbury, leading strength coatch with a doctorate in medical science (and a practicing bodybuilder) he only does full body workouts.
I'm not saying splits are bad im just saying full body workouts can be just as effective if done corectly.

But not much about grammar or spelling, apparently.

Um....I do a split routine myself. I was merely defending an equally successful way of training. Geez, will people on here ever learn that BOTH ways of training i.e. split and full body workouts, are effective?
Oh, and no, you do not know a lot about bodybuilding. Your statements prove as much.

Step 1: Stop going to the gym.
Step 2: Substitute that time by going back to 3rd grade Grammar class.

Obviously XBrock LesnarX doesn't have life outside the gym. This bird brain seems to have problem trying to open up his mind to new perspectives. It's basically his way or nothing at all. Apparently, he also seems to have problem absorbing what he should've already learned.....proper and correct grammar.
I wish idiots like this guy would open up their minds for a change. XBrock LesnarX, have you even tried full body training? If not, then SHUT THE HELL UP!
