How many sets per muscle group for hypertrophy?

so I read that for hypertrophy rep range should be 8-12 reps with like 12-15 RM.
But how many sets per muscle group?

Most people like to do a 3x8 routine. Meaning three sets, eight reps per set.

Some like the 12-10-8 scheme.
