how many of you need to take caffeine everyday day to get through the day and through the workouts?....how much do you guys take? how many of you take it to burn fat?

I do. I take NO Xplode preworkout, 3 scoops, so thats about 300-400mg of caffeine from what i've heard from people. unfortunately BSN doesn't disclose how much caffeine is in each serving, but it seems from what people say there is around 100mg per serving.
On my off days I don't take in any caffeine though and I certainly feel a little more sluggish, although I also reduce cals/carbs on those days too so that plays into it.

get thru the day
im one of the older guys and ive been taking a couple of ephedrine tabs before my training for at least 100 years.
i believe its better then coffee as some supps. dont go well with caffiene.
and i also think its safer and a whole lot cheaper then some of these new energy drinks out now but you could get carried away with it if your not careful.

The last time I had caffine(drink/pills) in my system was Dec. 2007 when I finished my bottle of Animal Pump. I like the smell of coffee but dont like the aftertaste, hate tea, and dont drink soda for obvious reasons. Energy Drinks are complete crap and the sugar/caffine low isn't worth the high.
The first half of the summer I had school from 8-10am and worked from 11am-10pm. This half I work 10pm-7am with summer school from 6pm-8pm.I see alot of people addicted to it.
Once you learn to live without caffine, it really isn't that bad.

I usually have caffeine all day. I get up at 4:15 and pop some pills then around 11:30 and then again at 4:00. I have been doing this so long that I probably have more energy off the caffeine, but it's a mental thing. I still get a pretty good kick, but nothing like the day's of true a true ECA stack. One of these days I will come off it, but for now I am a definite caffeine addict.
