question regarding rep ranges.

What do you guys think about the upper lower guidline regarding rep ranges. 8-12 upper and 12-15 for lower? Just wondering if anyone on here actually goes by this.

When working muscles in your upper body try to stay in the 8-12 rep range. Lower body is supposed to be 12-15 reps per set. I just read this earlier and never heard of it thats why Im asking.

That makes two of us.

I train both my upper and my lower body in various rep ranges (3-15).

If your looking for maximum muscle mass these are the rep ranges to aim for, although you can still get good results going lower or sometimes higher. As well as benefits of more strength if you go lower.

I work heavy upper and heavy lover once a week for 5's
as well as repetition days for each with 8-10.

the best rep range is the one your body responds to
