Arrow 3-5 reps is perfectly acceptable for building strength

Sean Quade I agree that for body building 3-5 reps is not proper but in the case of strength building 3-5 reps is perfectly acceptable. I am now 14 and I have been working out for 3 years and you probably don’t give a dam what I have to say but im going to voice my opinion anyway.
I myself workout every other day in-between workouts I do plyometric’s and basic cardiovascular exercise. I have won several competitions in weightlifting for 1 time max bench, squat, and dead-lift And 3-5 does work for me. I squat 488 pounds, bench 185, and dead-lift 385 and who is to say 3-5 is wrong. I do agree with what you said “ These people load up the bar with so much weight that they have to arch their back and bounce the bar off their chest every time they perform reps.” I do agree that this is not particularly not the best thing to do as I have learned from experience.
