Whats the best tasting whey from Optimum nutrition???

wondering what the best tasting whey powder is from optimum nutrition. im finally finishin off my 5 gallon bucket of the vanilla natural whey. smells like **** but tastes, well like vanilla ****. but im not sippin it for the taste so i just chug it. i love the way it mixes soo fast in water so i wanna stick with them

u know if there other flavors are good? they have cookies and cream, mint chocolate, double rich chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla. thanks!!!

another vote for chocolate mint one of the first protein's I have had that I actually look forward to taking the taste is awesome.

Chocolate mint and vanilla are both very good. I usually alternate with them to not get sick of the taste.

The thing I like about the vanilla is that it's very versatile, and it's just a slight hint of flavor.

You could just get one of every flavor for some variety. I currently have 10 different brands/flavors of 5 pound jugs of protein sitting in my closet and pantry. I use a lot of protein and like to mix it up a bit.

Good post (sarcasm)...If you would have read his question; you'd see it wasn't a question about Dymatize or Champion. If he wanted your opinion about those, he would have asked. How someone who replies, "They all taste like ass", can get that many rep points is beyond me. Real helpful!

I read the question and decided to save his taste buds. As for rep points, what does that have to do with anything? People give them away like candy so they are not an indicator of anything.

thanks for the input everybody! i was afraid that this one was gonna get lost in space somewhere. looks like chocolate mint will be my next order.

btw, i just ordered a 5 gallon jug last night from a wholesaler online and its 20 bucks cheaper than in stores! anybody else buy from online wholesalers?

Chocolate taste is absolutely the best flavor from ON. Strawberry comes after that, but isn't quite as good in plain water.

And yeah, stay away from cookies & cream. It is the worst tasting protein powder ever conceived! I have just wasted money on 5lbs of it. I have only taken 2 scoops and I just can't bear the taste, it's horrible.

and yes Cookies and cream is the second worst powder I have ever tasted (The first was a lemon Cream thing that was horrid).

I used strawberry last month and it was ok....this month I just got a new tub in of chocalate mint and it tastes really good!! Especially when i mix a scoop in with my oats for breakfast...good stuff!

Hey bro I just ordered ATW proteins banana , I will do a reveiw on it once I taste it. I loved the vanilla so we will see. I know you said you liked the chocolate but not the orange. I Have not tasted the strawberry yet have you? I have never tasted a good strawberry protein powder yet lol. ON's is the only one I tried and I almost puked

I would not use the whey from them. Although vanilla is nice because it's so light can be mixed with other things too. But the best whey is one that is not filtered and gone through the high heat process. The best tasting whey I have tried was from pro optimal whey the chocolate and vanilla both. My grnpandpa likes the strawberry allot.
The consistency of the pro optimal and the extreme whey are so much different from that of the stuff that I see here like this or vp2 and others. Plus it's made from cows that don't come from feedlots. After what I saw where my food comes from i stopped buying milk and products that came from that stuff.

About 2 years ago, ON had a sample package of different flavored protein powders. I don't know if they still have it but maybe you can try that next time. I think it came in about 10 flavors or so. I don't remember.

Chocolate and gingerbread I like, very tasty.

I'm a huge chocoloate kinda protein guy but their double rich chocolate to me was just ok, nothing special, just drinkable.

Cookies and Cream suckd balls, but the taste eventually became ok and I finished it.

Chocolate mint was good.

Looking for opinions on cake batter, banana cream, mocha capachino and caramel toffe fudge.

And ON does have their variety pack, 16 flavors, but it on back order.
