...ok i'll be 16 in 9 days and my mom let my older sister get her first tattoo when she turned 16, she gave me the same choice...i'm still deciding if i want to get it because i don't want it to be "trashy" or gross...just wanted your opinion on it, the one i would get is posted below...honestly what do you think?

I like the tatoos on the lower back that go across it (though there is an opinion of a girl with tatoos like that) or like a butterfly on your ankle (no homo)

My mom says when she goes to get her tattoo if i pay for my own i can get one i think were going like next month... so I don't really have that problem just talk to her about it and your older sister thing she should understand but then there's the whole older sibling cliche where ur older brother/sister took the car out when they got their license and now ur not allowed to cuz they crashed it but just ask

get one on the side of your hip, that way if you change your mind after you get it already, you can hide it. Or just to have it as a secret lol

A tattoo is something personal. You have to take into account that as your body changes over time; your tattoo area will also shrink/expand making it look worse.

However, if you're pretty confident about it and think your body is not going change a lot over the years, then id say go for it. Start by something small.

i love tattooing girls but in all honesty i wouldnt get one on the neck (esp for your first one!!)

im lucky enough i never have to worry about tattoo's interfering with my job but you might (i dunno)

something like this that basically just looks pretty(not criticizing a lot of ppl get tattoos that have no personal relevance) your never gonna regret your tattoo for what it is, you might regret having a tattoo in general though, thats why i always suggest the first one be somewhere that can be hidden

also that is a line tattoo and will fade like a mother****er and trust me, regular touchups on your neck arent gonna be fun

it is legal although a lot of shops wont do it until your 18 and under your own consent, this leads to people waiting because usually it is the higher class shops that do this, and when it comes to tattoo's a low class shop could mean much worse than jsut a fugly tattoo
