If I'm eating ground beef it's almost always for a burger, so I typically broil it in a teflon pan. I like to spritz a little Worcestershire sauce on it, and for spices I go for chili powder, paprika, and black pepper.

Personally I prefer bison not so much for the macros as the fact that it tastes better, but ground beef is a LOT cheaper.

Smile I use it mostly in cooking . . .

So its generally baked or stewed in things like meatloaf, meatballs, meat sauce 4 pasta.

On the rare times I make a burger, its grilled medium rare, or completely raw if I'm indulging my taste 4 Steak Tartare.
    Best Regards,

I always cook ground beef whether it's for my homemade spaghetti or stew. I just take a pot, heat it up and put the ground beef in and cook until brown.

I stick to ground chuck, 90/10 or god forbid, 80/20. 80/20 has more beef flavor than the lean stuff, and being into cooking, I can't deny myself a better tasting meal. In any case, the fat all drains away, so not all too much harm done. I'm not here to me on super lean diet. I'm here to be healthy and enjoy myself. Not like I eat ice cream or indulge in the stuff that truly hurts.

As for preparation method, either patties or stir fried with fresh tomato or peas over brown rice.

the problem is though , in my supermarket it doesn't show how lean the ground chuck is!!! But then again alot of people say its good fat and doesn't really matter...

    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1/4 diced onion
    1 diced jalapeno
    1/2 c. powered oatmeal
    2 eggs
    Cilantro

Mix everything up in a large bowl (down be afraid to get those hands dirty!). Makes 2 burgers. Grill burgers in a skillet and garnish with cheese, spinage and avacado. Mmmm.
