Shirataki noodles???

Hello all, I'm a big pasta fan and I found these noodles and normally eat them pretty often because they're a good low carb substitue. They're basically tofu noodles. Are they OK on my mostly protein/very low carb diet??? This is the nutritional info: 20 calories, 0.5 g fat, 1 g protein, 3 g carb, 2 g fiber. And while I'm on this topic, are meatless products a good source of clean protein (i.e. veggie burgers, meatless crumbles, etc)

Thanks!

yes they are fine, to eat but go with "real" food and you'll thank me(or not) later in life..

meatless products are also fine for a protein source as long as your getting some type of protein from dairy, meat some time else in the day.

Smile Oddball has the right idea . . .

Those kind of things r OK 2 eat occasionally, but I wouldn't recommend building ur diet around them.

IMO u'll b better off if ur protein intake is centered around natural high-quality animal sources like meat, poultry, fish, eggs & milk rather than processed things like tofu or supplements.
