Maybe I am really weird but...
I really like the Designer(sp) Whey products....Detour,Uturn,and I can't remeber there is at least one other one. To me they taste really good and have a decent amount of protein. I usually stick to shakes/meal replacements for protein needs, but I think they make a great little snack or grab-n-go type of thing. My only problem with them is that they are a tad bit pricey...
Currently recovering from knee surgery...trying to get back into the game...right now fat/out of shape...:(

Here is a good protein bar you can make at home...thanks wardog!
16 ounces Natural peanut butter
8 tablespoons honey
six scoops of Optimum Chocolate whey protein powder
1 cup of uncooked oatmeal
254 grams of protein
282 grams of carbohydrates
256 grams of fat
4268 calories total
It's a relatively simple recipe, but effective nonetheless.

Mix the pb and honey in a bowl, microwave on full for 80 secs. Add the rest and mix together. Can add raisins/nuts etc to taste. Smooth into 13x9 tray and leave for 20 mins. Cut into 10 to 12 equal bars and wrap and store in fridge.
