I like "Stiff-Arm Pull-Downs"
I really feel those in my lats. And depending on whether your lats are "high" or "low" on your body, you might want to think about maybe doing different kinds of back workouts.
Not sure of the article, but basically, depending on whether you have lats that are high (ending close to your armpits) or low (going almost to your navel or something?) you should use different.
For example wide grip pull ups is more effective for (not sure which one) the high/low one, and not the other.

however don't get me wrong, lat exercises ARE lat exercises, so they'll get hit no matter what if you do them right..

i'm pretty sure it's like the "starting a lawn mower movement."
done on a cable crossover machine? Set the height low, and basically just "pull upwards" like you would to start a lawnmower..
but I dunno if thats' the actual name for the exercise.. just what I would assume lol

no... working your right arm here...
grab a flat bench and a dumbell... i use 75's so we'll say 50 to get the feel of it...put your left knee on the bench, knee in the middle and your foot hangs over the back end of the bench. and put your right leg back behind you sorta straight... then you want your back parallel to the floor... and just extend the dumbell out and bring it back up and in towards your rear...
yeah so that was a ****ty explanation. but i tried~!
k here we go... i found a good pic

Rows (including the lawnmower pull by the sounds of it) are more for back thickness than width. While the lats are getting worked, i dont think it's as effective as direct lat work, such as pullups etc.
