annnnnnnnd I'm sick of chicken
After eating the same 7 meals/day, including chicken 3 times/day for the last 6 months I officially cannot stomach chicken anymore. Meal time becomes something I dread when it involves chicken.
So my dilemma is what to move onto to switch things up for a while. I know that fish or steak would be good to throw in once in awhile, but other than that what would be good. I already eat 1 can of tuna/day and don't really want to go over that amount.
So I was thinking of just upping the amount of eggs/egg whites I eat. Right now I have seven whites and one whole egg every morning with some plain oatmeal and half a grapefruit. I was thinking of substituting two of my previous chicken meals with this 7 whites/1 whole egg meal (along with oatmeal or almonds- depending on P+C or P+F meal). Then making dinner fish or steak rather than the typical chicken I had been eating.
Let me know what you guys think, I'm sure most of you have run into this "growing sick of the same food" dilemma at some point.
(Note: I am trying to put on some muscle while staying very lean)

Yeah, I feel this way sometimes, day after day after day of eatin' the same crap can be a bore (and hard to swallow) (no homo).
Just change things up once in a while. Get your Protein from a different source like Fish or Steak.
Cheers.

Hmm.. when's the last time you had a cheat day? Maybe all you need is a day of eating something you haven't in a long time?
Probably doesn't help out your question too much, but when I get absolutely sick of my diet, I'll chow down on some chinese food, pizza, or something.. and for whatever reason the next day chicken seems appealing once again.
Just me though, sorry if that was worthless to you!

pussy! go eat some chicken!!!
seriously though - add a different sauce, try teriyaki chicken, try orange chicken etc etc...steak is a good source of protein, if you can stomach fish then eat that, also try some random sources like osterich...just don't resort to pork lol

Why don't you eat ground beef too. I know alot of people freak out about this but some high quality 96/4 or 93/7 is great (might have to add an egg or egg white to the mixture if you are making like a hamburger to keep it stuck together)
It's low fat. High protein. Can't go wrong. People overdo this chicken thing.
now if its for another reason, more power to ya

I didn't see pork or turkey mentioned, so give them a try. Pork has a very undeserved reputation for being fatty when it's often leaner than chicken.
If you really wanna branch out, there's always bison, venison, ostritch, etc., but they're all more expensive.

theres an assload of other proteins out there. and hundreds of ways to prepare each one. the only limits are you culinary skills and wallet size.

a diet does not have to revolve around chicken. in fact, it shouldn't, because you'll get sick of it (obviously)
I'm sure there's a thread with a list of good protein sources around here, try and get all of them evenly and switch it up a lot. There's several days where I don't even eat chicken at all. Mostly different types of beef, fish, eggs and maybe turkey will take its place.

That's the problem when you don't get variety in a diet. It seems this place is obsessed with chicken.
