    Bodybuilding and stretching.

"One of the best times to stretch is right after a strength workout such as weightlifting. Static stretching of fatigued muscles (see section Static Stretching) performed immediately following the exercise(s) that caused the fatigue, helps not only to increase flexibility, but also enhances the promotion of muscular development (muscle growth), and will actually help decrease the level of post-exercise soreness."

Some may agree with what it says and others may disagree, so discuss away!

BodyBuilders can actually notice increased gains from stretching. Frank Zane swore that stretching between sets was a large part of his success. I have actually noticed increased gains (mirrorwise not scalewise) this past month and the only thing I did different was stretching the muscles I was working between sets.
"That laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve to encourage rather than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man"
