whats the muscle that is on your side?
You know, right above your hips....... on your lower ribs. I need to work it better or something... I have kind of an "Hour glass" figure goign on that I want to get rid of...
Also, what are some good exercises for it?
Thanks.

well, I want a more "full" upper body. Are like side crunches the best way to train these?

Obliques, Serratus Anterior, or Intercostals. They're all the stringy muslces that appear to the side of your abs, in different places. Serratus is just below the chest, obliques to the side of your abs, and intercostals...I dunno.

side raises, side crunches, russian twists, toe-touches, and barbell twists all hit your obliques. when bodyweight is too easy, just add weight.
and for those who say that you'll lose your v-taper, that's just bullsh*t, you need to be twisting a sh*tload to get big obliques
