"While this proportion chart is good, some people may be wanting to know the proportions of male models.
A small male model has a 38 inch chest, 13 inch biceps (unflexed), 32 inch waist and is also 6 foot tall."
thats what one of the comments said...
wtf?

Looks like its an incomplete chart, bicep size only goes up to 17.80 inches. In reality there are guys out there these days with 24 and 25 inch arms. Either the creator of the chart ran out of time and stopped half way or he wrote this chart for people who don't lift weights and do other sports.

Well, this thread just shows how "ideal" is in the eye of the beholder.
I work in the modeling industry and, yes, those are the correct ideal proportions.
That is, for people who want a "modelesque" or "statuesque" body, like an ideal greek statue or "sexy" movie star or whatever.
But this a body building forum, and most of you are obviously body builders, so you clearly value "brawn" or raw strength or being "ripped" or "macho" over being statuesque or "beautiful" like a model has to be, which may be perceived here as a bit feminine, and it is. Models are pretty boys, remember, not vikings.
There is a subset of body-building models within so-called "fitness models," but that is generally a self-enclosed subculture with limited appeal outside their own muscle-fetishists.
In the modeling industry we must market to what most mainstream women (and men) find attractive, and it is not mountains of muscle. Rather it is a tall slender look, fit and defined, but not massive or "lumpy" like body-builders can get, balanced and proportional. Lean and mesomorphic.

2.57 so acording to the chart i should be .......
neck 16.40
bicep 15.40
fore arm 12.85
chest 42.80
waist 32.10
hips 38.55
quad 23.10
calf 15.40
actual
neck 16
bicep 16.5
forearm 13,5

closeto the chart. i guess as my weight grows my measurements should adjust also.
honestly its quite interesting chart.
