Hi I'm new here and just after a little advice. I started lifting about 3 months ago and have seen some good improvements in strength and noticeable muscle mass. I'm currently on a bulking diet consuming 3300 calories a day cleanly. Macros are protein 230g carbs 390g fats 80g roughly. My question is this I stand at 6ft 5 inches and weigh 232lbs I have skinny arms and skinny legs but a bit of a gut. I personally would rather bulk to around 238lbs and then cut just so I have some muscle to actually cut for but is this the wrong way to do things? I'm not too concerned about my gut tbh and my motivation in the gym is great as I'm seeing results, I'm just worried if I cut now IL loose what I have gained and the lack of improvement in the gym will kill my motivation. So the question is it feasible to continue bulking or is it pointless as I'm too overweight as it is? My BMI is 27 I think. Thanks for any help

Pics would help, but if your goal is more muscle, and you do not want to cut yet, than it seems you know what you want to do.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.
