If somebody can "arm curl" as much as they can CG bench then it's probably not very strict.

    Cool

I'm not sure what the record is, but I do know that Bill Kazmaier curled 315 for 15 reps...

No, no, no, that picture of Magnus was with bumper plates that do not weigh 45 lbs each. The weight in the picture is a LOT, but not 405 lbs. I cannot remember the exact load.

Bill Kazmaier never cheat curled 440, it is bull****, don't believe everything you read. He did cheat curl 396 though.

Ken Brown holds the Powerlifting Strict Curl world record, he set in 1991, it was 107.5kg/235lbs (head and buttocks against wall).

Please provide us proof that he did not curl 440. As far as I know, it is a Guiness book world record. Also, by telling us not to believe everything we read, why should we believe some guy on a message board?

It's never been in the Guiness book of records. Kaz cheat curled 180kg/396lbs at a seminar, it was Brian Batcheldor's seminar who I know personally, it was not 440. Gary Mitchell and Fred Hatfield are bull****ters who exaggerate Kaz's achievements and embarass him. Hatfield claimed Kaz did a ridiculous grip feat, plate pinching 3 45's and curling them, it was so blatantly made up. Gary Mitchell said that Kaz personally told him he threw 18 feet 3 inches in the 56 for height, but according to the official Highland Games records, Kaz's best toss was 16 feet 3 inches. EVERYBODY exaggerates about Kaz and it's so stupid, people say he used no belt or wraps or suit when he Squatted in Powerlifting, for crying out loud I've got clips of him Squatting at meets and he used belt, wraps and suit just like everybody else. People say he could of Squatted 1000lbs if he really wanted to, but he ****ing didn't for christsake, and they should shut the hell up. It's utter nonsense.

Post the videos of him squatting with a suit, belt, and wraps. Irregardless of how much he curled, or what equipment he used, it is pretty sad to see someone who is so up for discrediting an amazing powerlifter. Do what he did, then talk.

Where do you get this bull**** from? Just like you saying Pudz is going into rehab for *******. The guy doesnt even drink. Get your facts straight before you open up your ignorant mouth.

PS: That 3 plate pinch grip by KAZ did NOT happen that is the truth. Kaz said it himself, he never did it. Hatfield, said he bet Kaz to walk the lenght of a gym holding the weights straight out infront of him. Kaz did walk the length but with 2 45's not 3.

Brian Batcheldor says he was there when Kaz did his big cheat curl and it was 396 NOT 440. I'm a huge fan of Kaz which is why I don't like people bull****ting about him because it just embarasses him!

I personally saw Mr. America Val Vasolav do a one arm curl over a vertical bench of 152 lbs. It was done at Bill Stevens gym in Baltimore County, Md in the late 1960's.
