    Eggs - How do you eat yours

    Hi,

    Quick question for the egg eaters.

    How do you eat yours ??

    Do you Boil them the split the White and throw the yoke ?
    Do you Boil them and eat the lot ?
    Do you scramble them ?
    Do you poach them ?


    I am lead to believe that the White is good for you yet the yolk not so good.
    Would anyone like to elaborate.

    I usually pick them up them with a fork and then put them in my mouth and chew.








    Joking I usually scramble them or make omlettes on the stove top. It's only takes a few minutes and they taste great.

    As for the egg whites. I eat the whole eggs. I see no reason not too.

    Especially at night I have the whole egg. But in the morning I either fry my whites, put them in pancakes or boil them and eat a few whole ones.

    hard or soft boiled, scrambled with a little bit of milk or omlette, chop up some onion, capsicum and what eva else you want, if you diet allows it a bit of cheese and = yum!

    I prefer the ol' egg, broccoli, mushroom and onion omelet. I like to first sautee chopped muchrooms, onions and broccoli, then throw in the eggs and form a delicious omelet out of it. Have it every morning.

    hard-boiled for ease of eating at work.
    scrambled when I want salt/oil or omelette ingredients with them.
    poached when I don't want salt/oil or other stuff.

    I'm really getting into poached eggs now. I can make them without breaking the whites off in the water now, but they're still ugly when done, not all pretty like you get at a restaurant where they have egg poachers.

    Oh, and I always order my eggs poached at IHOP or awful waffle (waffle house) as that's the only way to be sure they won't slather them with salt and butter. I'm sure the cooks hate me cuz they're used to making scrambled and sunny-side up, but they'll get over it.

    Plus eggs are like the only safe bet at places like awful waffle.

    Microwaved

    Spray some Pam in a bowl, crack 2 eggs in the bowl, sprinkle some Mrs Dash on there and cook until the whites are fully cooked but make sure not to pop the yolk...that gets messy. Usually 1:30-1:40 is a good cooking time.

    The Pam keeps them from sticking to the bowl. I usually put them on toast for a sandwich and bring it to work everyday as part of my lunch.

    6 hard boiled every morning. always put them in the pot on med-high, then take a shower as they cook (yes fire hazard)

    then cut in half and toss the yolk... then eat the whites on the way to work

    i dont do enough cardio to warrant that much cholesterol

    i have mine every night for dinner scrambled (5 egg whites, 1 egg) with fat free cheese and fresh veggies mixed in like tomatoes or peppers. it's my favorite meal

    4 scrambled eggs with sprinkled cinnamon on top every morning. sometimes i don't put cinnamon on them though.

    i've been eating that every morning for close to 9 months now...i love me some scrambled eggs.

    im sure the cooks will get over it by leaving a nice green loogy somewhere special in your plate... i try my hardest not to piss off the cooks cuz alot of ppl will not hesitate to get back at u

    here's about the best way to eat eggs:

    1. Hard boil a dozen eggs
    2. Toss them in a jar of pickle juice (eat the pickels first and save th juice)
    3. Let them sit for 2-3 weeks

    Eat the pickeled eggs! Damn..nothing better than pickeled eggs!!

    For me it's either:

    -Poached Egg with Dill and a Veggie (normally tomatoe slice or any veg in season)
    -Egg White Omlet with Beans or a Meat (steak, chicken etc.)


    I rarely scramble or anything - and usually never add salt if not needed.

    Hard or soft boiled, scrambled or omlette.

    I usually have 7 eggs for a meal with roughly 1/2 of that number being whole and 1/2 just the whites.
