I run 2 miles in the morning between 5:30 and 6:30, then when I get home I run 3 more whenever it gets cool enough. Typically, I lift on M/W/F and go when I feel like it, but have taken some time off for a couple weeks to focus on the cardio.
It is important to note that I have no children, and my man is heavily into the fitness lifestyle. This frees up my schedule and some obstacles that others face. We frequently go to the gym together which is very motivating, even though we don't necessarily to work out with each other.

see I want to go twice a day, Im just not a morning person, I'm such a bitch. No one talks to me or calls me till after 11 (serious) my clients even know better LOL they usually email me.
Maybe it would change my attitude if I went to the gym before work hmmm *lightbulb*

I will admit, that I am NOT a morning person. Especially worse since I have a low thyroid and this makes getting up on ANY morning extremely difficult. But, it's worth it to have the revved up metabolism for the day and fitting into my smaller clothes.

I don't have a set time but my best workouts are around dinner time. I love it when the gym is busy; i get a better workout.

When I was working I would usually go between 1100am and 100pm (lunch time). Now that I'm on vacation I find myself going at roughly the same time. In the past I have worked out before and after work. I haven't noticed a difference in workout intensity no matter what time I work out. My work out time now is dictated by how crowded the gym will be.

I wish I could go to the gym at 11am...it's like the perfect time, right between my 2nd and 3rd meal, and I still get my mornings rest....after I would eat a big nice lunch. I think that I would be very productive that way, cause after work I'm beat, but at the sametime it helps me relieve stress from the day.

I work 7 to 4, just so I can fit in gym time before I have to pick up my daughter @ daycare by 6:30. I leave work @ 4 and my gym is a hop, skip and a jump away from work, so I workout from 4:15ish to 5:40 and then speed, so I can make it to the daycare in time.
On weekends I workout around 9:00 in the morning. My daughter goes to my parents Friday night/Saturday mornings, so I get a nice needed break.
I prefer to work out in the morning, but that schedule would be much more difficult to accomplish with my daughter.

Do you take a pre workout supplement? There were some (many) days at work that left me drained, but after drinking my NO Xplode I was ready to go.

No, I just take protein powder, Multi Vitamin and glutamine. Sometimes I drink coffee, but it's too hot for that in the summer...and I dont want my teeth to turn yellow.

I started taking an energy supp prior to my workouts. It gives me just the push I need to have a good workout, otherwise after a long day at the office, I am dragging.

I currently have the luxury of working out mid morning. I'll be starting my workout in about 30 min actually. But, I'll squeeze in cardio either first thing in the morning, or as the sun is going down since I run or bike outside. I'll do my weights anytime if I really have to, but mid day is my favorite.

What's it called?
Its frustrating because Working out is supposed to give you energy, and I drag all day and after I workout Im up till 130-2am...I need to just go to bed one night at like 8 and wake up and workout at 4 or something I dunno. I actually catch myself yawning during a workout sometimes, but I go home and I'm like ready to party or something, just energy galore.

On weekdays, I'm always at the gym by around 1pm. It's almost empty, since everyone is back at work after their lunch breaks. On weekends (if I go and I'm not too tired and sleepy from work), I'll usually go around 2pm.
I always pick times when it's empty.

I just started taking Lipo 6 and it seems to work well, as far as providing energy. Any fat burning it produces is just and added bonus. I only take it the days I work out....3 days on/1 day off/2 days on/1 day off.
I wake up at 4:30 every morning, b/c I have to get myself ready for work and my daughter (2yo) ready for school. I head out around 6:15, drop my daughter off and then get to work at 7:00. I go to the gym @ 4:00ish. I get home from the gym around 6:30 and I run around crazy tending to my daughter (dinner, bath, play, etc) until my daughter goes to bed at 7:30/8:00 and then I get to tend to myself. I usually sit down for an hour and wind down by reading or watching my soaps (yes, I'm an addict). I go to bed between 10:00 and 10:30.
I yawn during my workouts too and then feel so energized after. I would like to get to bed around 9:00, but never can b/c I still have the workout high.

Hm... well, I train an hour after my first meal of the day, whenever I have that, or after work [I finish at 4 in the morning... so it's not that big a stretch].
Try having a nap after you finish working out anb1683, or even before, if you can manage it. Or there's always the stimulant route... though if you're having trouble sleeping when you get home, I wouldn't recommend it.
I take two doses of thermogenic (that's about 6 tablets) and a cup of coffee before I work out myself [yes cut]...
look, I'm getting better with the energy thing, honest... I no longer stack NO-Xplode, creatine and redbull, for instance.

I took Lipo 6 for the energy boost too. I suppose it may have also played a factor in weight loss, but my main reason for taking it was the jitter free kick start that it gave me. I'd take in 30-60 minutes before my workout and I certainly noticed that it gave me more energy to power through the workouts I'd previously been dragging on. Now I'm not taking anything... just my two cups of coffee!

i usually hit the gym between 10 and 11am and get out before the lunch crowd. fortunately, i have my office at home, so i can get out for 90 mins, most days, whenever i choose.
and i find i'm way too tired or involved with work if i do it in the afternoon / early eve....
best,

Ya, I take it 30-60 minutes before too! It has helped this week, especially since this is my first week back to lifting heavier. I am so sore today, but after 1 Lipo 6, I am sure I will feel like hitting the gym after work....doing kick-boxing tonight.

I refuse to wake up any earlier to go to the gym. I roll out of bed at 3 am already, so I go after work from Mon-Thurs (anywhere from 4:30 to 5:30) and on Fridays I'll go around 10 or so. Can't wait till I have some money and can get my own kickass gym at home!

I always go after work, sometimes i finish at 4.30 sometimes at 6pm so it can get quite late but i know if i tried to do it in the am i would just reset the alarm and sleep in.
I really enjoy it after work I get to release stresses from the day and wind down, the only problem is it can be hard to sleep after

Yeah I like it after work too, I'm just tired.
I did actually get a perfect 8 hours of sleep last night, I'm kinda curious to see the difference in my workout and day all together, it was really good sleep, some interesting dreams, woke up with no alarm, gonna go make a nice breakfast, hopefully tonight I'm tired and not up till 1 or 2 in the morning.
