Will ephedra use cause brain damage?

I am new to supplements and am curous if ephedra use could cause brain damage. I have read that other (much) stronger stimulants such as ******* and crystal meth cause considerable damage. Even asmaller stimulants such as ridalin used over longer periods of time have been shown to cause some damage. Are their any studies about ephedra and possible brain damage?

    Thank you,
    just trying to be safe

If you took high amounts over a period of time, or even moderate amounts if you were sensitive (and prone ,taking into account other conditions), it could lead to a stroke, or it could impair oxygen to the brain. But, this is an extreme scenario and it is contextual depending upon the person, their latent and known conditions, and the amount and the duration of the substance used.

And, that to the side, ECA stacks and such are generally cycled on and off, so long term considerations should not be applicable (whithin a certain context). Those that use Adderal/Ritalin, are taking it for medical reasons, and thus use it continously (or at least more continually than the recreational use of ECA).

And even many studies as put forth for various substances, are not always put into their proper contexts (Ephedrine in general is a good example :i.e. who were the people in question, what else were they taking, what conditions did they have previously, what amounts were taken, how long was it taken for, so on so forth). Thus, even a study, does not necessarily tell a story as you would wish.
