Its called water retention... if you go in a sauna or something and try to lose say 5-10 lbs real fast to make a certain weight as soon as you start drinking or eating your body just sucks it all up like a vaccum.... some bodybuilders after a show can gain up to 20lbs in 2 days because they are so depleted after the show.

I went from 127lbs to 135 in a day. I was up to 140 a few days later.
It's all water weight that wrestlers/boxers/bodybuilders temporarily have to cut in order to make weight or whatever, so its back up to their natural weights as soon as they can eat food and drink fluids. Like Iron said, you're body soaks up as much water as it can when you finally replenish it.19 years old

10 lbs sounds a bit rediculous but i've seen boxers gain close to that in a couple days....no big secret, all they do is f*ckin eat as much as they can on the days before weigh-ins and eat about 3 HUGE MEALS immediatly before they get weighed in. No one said nething about keeping the weight on man
And 10 pounds isnt much. arturro gatti went up like 16 pounds once. And i forget what Diego Corrales went up for the mayweather fight, but it was a lot.the jakes on you.

I once went up nearly 10 lbs in a few hours in 8th grade. It was for wrestling and in order to make it into the weight class I wanted I had to run wearing 10 jackets, 6 pairs of pants and a garbage bag for almost an hour. sucked out every bit of water I had in my body but it pulled me into the right weight. After I got in I went into the locker room and started chugging water and eating everything I could find. Was 153 before weigh-in. The next morning I was 162. Just goes to show what water can do to ya!

Uhhh...its called a water pill. It dehydrates you real good...and since much of your body is water it makes it that much easier to loose weight. Some water and some starchy foods after the weigh-in and your are back were you were.
