Does creatine have an expiration date?

Does creatine have an expiration date? I bought 2.2 lbs and I calculated that it will last for a little bit more than a year. (I'll take 5 g on the days I work out, and I work out 4 days a week).
    Thanks

Thats not how you take creatine for a start

You have to take cre every day or you're wasting time and money. If you don't take it every day it won't every get into/stay in your system. 5g/day is good, though. I don't know for sure, but I think you'll be ok for a year. If you feel like your benefits from it are slipping, take 5g twice a day.

    1. If you don't take it right theres no point takin it.
    2. When you decide to take it right it wont last you a year.

Solve both problems and take 5 grams a day for the 7 months it would last. It should last that long I do believe.

    one more question:
    I heard that is resonable to take 2.5 g pre-workout and 2.5 post-workout.
    Do you agree?
From what I see I should take creatine even on the days I don't workout?

Yes you should take it on the days you dont work out, a 8 week on 4 week off cycle is good. Take it after your workout with dextrose, grape juice or similar is good.

funny you ask...i just busted open my tub of satur8 today and it looked like burnt plastic, it went bad! i couldnt believe it...i had already opened the tub about 2 or 3 months ago though, but the lid was on very tight and it wasnt exposed to moisture. so id say yes, if you break the seal and your creatine is sugar based, dont let it sit for too long.

All creatine ever made expires Aug 8, 2006. Don't ask me why, I don't know. I hope this helps.

Creatine sucks don't waste you money. Use your money to buy good food like KFC. But does Creatine have an expiration date? It doesn't just as long as you don't put it in water. Creatine is just like salt. It never expires.

yes creatine has an expiration date. but if there's MINIMAL exposure to water then this expiration date can be lengthened or postponed, if you catch my drift
