Favorite Kichen Utilities
I am having trouble with my diet, it's just so hard to get over the mental block of constantly eating healthy. My main problem is I am a temp employee at my work with one day wanting to be hired on full time. The people I work with go out to eat EVERY SINGLE DAY. To a different resturant. Although I try to pick the most healthy options every time, sometimes it is hard. So what I am trying to do is eat healthy at night 100% of the time with a occasional cheat for lunch. So what I am trying to do is find some good utilities for cooking food, preparing it, etc.
Some I am going invest in is the Forman for my chicken, blender for my shakes, skillet for my veggies.
Anyone else have any other things that they could not live without?

Over the past year, I've eaten 90% clean using only a fridge, microwave, measuring cups, and a pot for boiling eggs.
Dont waste your money.

wait...sorry. I use a blender as well.
The only other thing I would want would be a food scale for meats but I definitely don't NEED it.

Gas grill.
A toaster oven is nice for toasting and convenient for small quantity cooking.

Foreman is awesome for chicken. After I bought it, I no longer fear eating chicken twice a day. It tastes really OK (which I can't say about stir-fried chicken), it's fast and convenient.

i defintely use the stove a lot for eggs, veggies, chicken and other ****, so i would suggest a non-stick pan and spatula.

i personally love to cook. so having a full sized kitchen stocked up like emeril's kitchen would be freakin sweet. but i guess if your limited in space/money a nice pot/pan set w/ spatula/stirring spoon, a conventional oven (if you don't have a regular one), a blender, and maybe even a toaster can get you pretty far. the best part about eating healthy is that most of the recipes are so very very simple to prepare.
In terms of packing healthy lunches, theres a whole lotta stuff you can buy that requires little to no preperation with kitchen utsensils. (trailmix, lean whole grain wheat sandwhiches, raw fruit/veggies, hard boiled eggs, etc)

I love cooking, and making meals and such. Best part about bodybuilding to me. Invest in a rice cooker, lets you cook rice all day long keeps it nice and fresh. George foreman is my #1 love for sure, cook anything on it. Skillets, pots for eggs and making soups and all that good stuff in. Electirc skillet could be GREAT for traveling. Cook it right on a countertop with just a plug in. Buy an electric digital scale, its my #2 love =). Buy a pair of kitchen scissors to cut the fat off your meat and steaks and all that and be able t ocut in sizes you want instead of using knives all the time. and buy spatulas to flip those eggs and such. That should be pretty good list I think lol
