    beef vs. chicken

I've eaten so much chicken lately that I've grown tired of it. I think I'm going to only eat fish and beef for a while. Anyone care to weigh in on the pros and cons of eating mostly beef or mostly chicken?

You should be using a variety of sources for your protein already. Chicken and tuna overall have the best nutritional makeup for everyday consumption. Throw red meat in there every 2days or so for variety and for the added benefits it has

What's so bad about eating lean cuts of beef everyday. I get most of my protein from eggs and lean beef.

nothing, just that it isnt as lean as chicken, some people (mainly cutting) dont have room for the extra fat calories, and/or they could be used with a better fat source, or with other macro's

i get kangaroo (yeah again with the kangaroo) which is leaner than chicken, and has the same benefits as red meat (after all it is red meat) game meat is great to eat, everyone should get into it!

Variety is key. You should not eat either chicken or beef.
Keep in mind each meat gets a different profile in vitamins that is the reason why you have to include in your daily diet several kind of meat, fish.

It's easy for bodybuilders because they're eating several small meals a day.
So, have eggs, dairy at meal 1, protein shake at meal 2, beef at meal 3, chicken at meal 4, tuna at meal 5. This is an example.

Also, keep in mind meat is rich in B complex whereas fish is rich in mineral.

Latley I have been having buffalo once a week. I normally am not a fan of red meat but buffalo is very good and real lean. It tastes just like cow beed but like I said it's a lot leaner so I feel better about eating it. Give it a try.

remember you have to cook game meats carefully, as they can dry out very easily, also if you cook them too hot they burn on the outside and remain raw on the inside!

a little trick i use, is cutting them in half horizontally, so they are thiner (butterflying it) thats if its thick in the first place! the kangaroo i get is quite thick!

I eat both but prefer beef. There are cuts of beef that are pretty much just as lean as chicken.

For me it's a cost issue
Boneless skinless chicken breasts for me are $2.05lb
    Tuna 55cents a can
Lean cuts of beef start out at about $3.99lb
