A 29 year old Ronnie
Here is a pic of Ronnie at 230 pounds. He has just come off fourth place at the San Jose classic show and he says he has been training for 15 years. At this time he was full time on the poilice force. Oh and he is completely natural in this shot. Ronnie said in the article he is drug tested regularly as part of him job.

Amazing, and I respect is achievements the same regardless whether "on" or not back then as I don't care how you cut it the muscle's not gonna grow without work. However, it is not at all hard for an AAS user to beat the types of drug tests he'd be subjected to in the police force, and frankly that claim and referring to those tests means next to zilch in my mind.

I wont even comment on the 'natural' comment lol
But the pic is good.
but look at Ronnies skinny calf! haha
I'm not even a user and have naturally crappy calves, but in less than 4 years of training, mine look better than his after 15 years! that give me some hope of geeting an O in the future lol

He is far from natural there.
Unfortunately the darker races have higher calf muscles.

No one has ever won or lost a competition because of their calves. Their one of, if not the most, the most underlooked bodypart in competition.

I used to own the magazine that article was from, I was back in Sweden at that time.
Way back, if I remember correctly, Ronnie was most known for his biceps, not his back.

Actually, IMO the only thing that stopped Wolf from winning the NY pro was his calfs. I don't know what the judges went for, but it sure seems like he lost because of it.

The article was published in the October 1994 Musclmag. It also said Ronnie had perfect genetics for bodybuilding: a small, tight waist and broad shoulders. If he continues to make gains he should go far in the sport the article reported. He did okay.
