Thermorexin Cardio Experiment
I was fortunate enough to be picked as one of the Thermorexin Cardio Experiment testers. These are my results. I decided to make one definitive post at the end of my trial, rather than keep a log, because too many of the logs I see here get bogged down with needless posts and are sometimes hard to wade through.
About me:
Height-5’8
Weight- 200lbs
Years training- 17 (with a few breaks)
I’ve been a competitive bodybuilder (on and off) for 16 of those 17 years. I’ve done my share of pre-contest cardio, and to be honest I’ve always hated it. Some people are better suited for endurance type activities. I’m not one of them. So when I saw the post for this test I was intrigued. I wanted to see if Thermorexin really would make my cardio easier.
Cardio training- currently I’m doing HIIT on a bike for 25 minutes 3 days a week. I’ll also do 15-20 minutes on a stairclimber 1 or 2 mornings a week.
Initial impressions: I started the test by drinking a protein shake (to avoid nausea) and taking 1 Thermorexin cap about an hour before my cardio session. I experienced many of the effects that others have reported…a warm feeling, intense sweating (like no product I’ve ever tried before), a jittery intenseness (similar to ECA), and unfortunately, nausea. I think my nausea may have been caused by the synephrine in the product. I’ve never tolerated synephrine very well. After the first several attempts at taking this product, the nausea for me was so severe that I was thinking of returning the bottle and opting out of the test. Eating a larger meal was really out of the question since that would interfere with my exercise. However, after the first week, the nausea died down and I was able to work up to 2 caps with no lingering nausea.
The cardio: This is a tough one to pin down. Any stimulant will give you a little extra energy to get through a workout, and, in that regard, Thermorexin did make my cardio easier. But at no point during the trial did I ever feel that this product distanced itself from ECA, or other thermogenic stimulants. Cardio was easier, but to be honest, it still sucked, and I can’t see myself purchasing this product strictly for the purposes of the trial.
Final thought: I can, however, see myself using this during a pre-contest cut. More so than any other product I’ve tried, this stuff FEELS like a thermogenic. I cannot report any weight/fat loss during this trial, because I was in a bulking phase. I actually gained weight during the trial. I was also only taking Thermorexin once a day, 3-4 days a week. Again though, I’d be very interested to see how it worked during a caloric deficit, while being taken every day.
