using creatine while trying to lose fat

my main goal from weight training is to lose fat especially around my midsection: My normal food intake is as follows:

    green tea with milk
1-1.5 OUnces porridge & banana with milk
    carrot
    apple
    orange
omelate- 1 egg, eggwhite, 1 slice lowfat cheese, milk with tomato
100g-200g(4-8 OUnces) chicken breast no skin
100-200g (4-8 OUnces) steak, plus 100g(3-4ounces) of mixed veges (tomato, broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts)
shake- mmixed berries, yoghurt and milk, banana
    60 almonds
    200g yoghurt(7-8 OUnces)

    im 17 I am 5'8, 166 pound with 1-2inches fat around midsection

I workout about an hour a day( 3 day split), ido 20mins cardio if i can)

The yoghurt and milk i use is all nofat

I usually have a protein shake before and after workouts. Do any of you think it would be beneficial to add 3-5grams( or whatever the daily recommended amount is) a day of creatine to my diet when my main goal is to lose fat around my waist but also to try to maintain as much muscle as possible.

creatine wont help you lose any weight, it will just help your muscles recover and help make your sets last a little longer. you can go ahead and take it if you want to try and keep the muscle loss to a minimum while you are going through your weight loss phase, but it isnt going to make you lose any weight, if anything it will make you gain weight, because of some water retention.
