Do you guys eat the same amount of protein on off days?

The only difference in my diet on off days is that I dont drink my Post workout shake which is 50 grams of protein and about 300 cals. Is this ok or Should I continue to drink it even on "off" days when im not lifting. My reasoning is im a tad bit allergic to milk and I thought I wouldnt need those access cals since im not doing physical activity.

Protein feeds your muscles..You should be taking your shake on your off days. Try taking it with water, instead of milk.

That's right, keep taking your protein...if anything, since on the days you don't work out, your calorie expenditure is lower, lower the amount of carbs.

yea because shakes dont have as high of a thermic effect (caloric expenditure required for digestion) as whole foods.

Your body grows while out of the gym.

you're supposed to eat more protein on your off days and more carbs on your workout days.

Off days: Less shakes(i usually just have one with breakfast), more food (if your not in the gym, you got more time to be in the kitchen), you dont need fast absorbing protein on your off days. I'm assuming you mean a whey shake
