Try baby powder on the knees and thighs- it should help make the pull up smooth.

for deadlifting real heavy , i cant grip the bar since my hands get too sweaty. I've used chalk in the town that our football team co-ops with since their school gym has more "hardcore" stuff and powerlifting friendly. Is tehre a place where i could buy chalk for real cheap ( only 16 ) or should i invest in gloves, (although i would probably only need it for that lift..) thanks and what brands ?
