    Shoulder/Spine (maybe nerves) injury

Alrite I'm not good with names for exercises I just look how its done and do it as properly as I can I been working out for 3 months now I used to be real skinny I improved a lot really happy how I look now and I used to just never get into lifting tried twice but stopped because the set was at my house instead of at the gym and the gym is a new story

The exercise I was doing was basically its a machine where you can bench on it and basically its like the machine is a spotter for you, you twist it off to get it up well I was doing a shoulder exercise on it, I just had my two hands on it and from the top and pulled it up to my shoulder it works out your shoulders real good well I think I put on too much weight which when I started I was only concerned about weight now I do less weight more reps and my shoulders upper back were killing me and it was so weird where your spine starts where you can feel it the 2nd bone from the top down when I touched it, it killed, I felt like I messed up my nerves or something, anyone ever have something like this before done to them? Back injuries are very bad, they last about a month atleast

Can I introduce you to punctuation please? Full stops (.) and commas (,) in your post would do wonders for trying to understand what you are trying to describe.

I think you are talking about a Smiths machine, and suspect you were doing a shoulder press on it.

Now, can you describe exactly what you were doing when your shoulder/back started hurting?
    The science is out there!
