Wink What's the difference between pain & soreness?

Is muscle pain & soreness same? In what way they differ? what do one means when she/he refers to muscle soreness?
    Thanks

My "rule of the thumb" about pain is that I describe soreness as a dull, burning pain and injury as any pain that can't be described by those two words.

    Doms- Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness
U will feel pain and sometime it will be strong .
But an injury pain is different- usually wont go away quickly and is a different "pain"- u will learn to trust your instincts - and if something does not go away in a couple of days and u r not sure then go c a doctor.
