I got meso! Yupy! I'm so f*cking happy! I just hope it's right!
Anyway, the best body for building would be mostly meso. Not much to argue there. Endos can put on more mass, but they're constatly cutting in order to look good, and that sucks (no offense, any endo around here).
For powerlifting, however, endos win without a doubt.

Mesomorphic bodies are widely accepted as the best suited for bodybuilding competition.
Memento Mori
Only at bodybuilding.com would there be thousands of fans of bodybuilding who refuse to admit that bodybuilders use steroids. If you think steroids are cheating, follow a sport that is regulated by the WDA.

Your score is 1.83.
Your body is closest to a Mesomorph. You have a naturally fit body but to maintain it or improve it you should exercise and diet correctly for your type. Strength training can be done more often and for longer sessions then would be good for an Ectomorph, but you must still be carefull not to overdo it. You should train with moderate to heavy weighs and at a moderate pace, not resting too long between sets. You will find you gain muscle quite easy (some women and even men might not want to get too bulky, but this won't happen suddenly. When you are happy with your muscle size simply train to maintain it). Stick to a good healthy diet to keep you lean and muscular, and watch for any slow creeping fat gains. Engage in and enjoy aerobic activities, sports, etc. but do not overdo.

There's varying degrees of mesomorph ...
Extreme mesomorph wins hands down for best bodybuilding body type. Extreme mesomorphs are big and muscular before they even start lifting, as naturally lean as any ecto, & pack on muscle like there's no tomorrow. A couple of examples of extreme mesomorphs are Vic Richards and Ronnie Coleman.Last edited by jay81; 12-01-2004 at 09:35 AM.
