I would recommend N-Large by Prolab, Super Heavyweight Gainer 1200 by Champion Nutrition, and Champion's Heavyweight Gainer 900. Those are the best ones I ever used, and they taste awesome! N-Large is all whey protein, while both Champion products are a blend of milk, and egg proteins.

Why is creatine the badguy?
I agree with the "real food" comment.
Although it can get abit rough getting down alot of calories to bulk up with just food, weightgainers give you the edge. If you are infact trying to stray from the creatine crowd(Why does everyone hate creatine now?), look on the label for an ingredient called," N-Methyl-N-Guanyl Glycine". That's the chemical name for Creatine, since it's made of Arginine, Methionine, and Glycine. It's true, if there is creatine in the gainer, you'll gain water weight, but you'll also put on other types, such as fat weight(from the sugars used), or if you eat correctly and exercise intensely, you may get some lean weight out of the deal. Now, I'm not superhuman, but I know what I've been doing for the past 10 years. Not everything works for everyone, so it takes abit of research, and trial/error type diddling.Damn, Son!

I love N-Large 2. I used it when i was bulking and lifting for football and it really helped jack my weight from a lean 210 to a nice lean 230 and still be able to run a 40 yd. dash in 4.7 sec.

I am critical of N Large II because I think that it should have more than 1 protein source. Should include casein or egg or soy or something. Also it needs more simple carbs and more fat. Don't get me wrong it's about the best pre-mixed weight gainer out there but if you can it certainly is a good idea to make your own.

thanks to k for pointing out my errorof typing in bold,to k again it is possible because i am genetically predisponed
to weight again .i worked out 4 YEARS and out of than only for the past 1.5 YEARS i have used supplements,only did my first steroid cycle a few weeks ago,& not when on n-large( 8 months ago i didnt use steroids.) MANTECA is right that fat gaining was inevitable ,because i had gone overboard while bulking.
