    Um...it looks like everyone here loves oats. I eat 3 cups per day & I'm just wondering how much others eat?

    I try to eat as much as i can... anytime except before bed!!

    Usually i end up eating about 200g a day... thats 2 good sized bowls with some Sweet n' Low and Milk on top!! Not too bad at all, toss some fruit n stuff in too!!

    I tried putting them in My Protein shakes before... in the blender but they all just accumulate at the bottom??? Maybe i was supposed to cook them first?? i dont ****in know!! LOL

    I switch it up, anywhere from 160-400 grams a day, depending on what i'm up to. And I use gram weight since a cup of oats dry measure is closer to 1.25-1.5 servings...so what, i'm picky

    no bro you just gotta make sure you get em nice and fine. Blend the oats the best you can first before adding the other ingrediants in your shake. Make sure you turn the blender in all directions so you can get em as chopped up as possible. Then add the others and blend. Some will still settle to the bottom, but thats now my favorite part. Its kinda thick and they just slide right down into your mouth and you can sorta chew em. Its really not that bad once you get used to them. I look forward to my pre and post workout shakes! They have sort of a nutty taste with the oats in there.

    only 1 cup per day, it's good to get your carbs from varying sources such as sweet potatoes, rice, veggies, fruit. Each source has different nutrients.

    On my workout days I usually have 2.5 cups of oats a day (Pre,Post, and in one of my meals). On my nonworkout days I usually have a 1 cup.

    Usually i end up eating about 200g a day... thats 2 good sized bowls with some Sweet n' Low and Milk on top!! Not too bad at all, toss some fruit n stuff in too!!

    I tried putting them in My Protein shakes before... in the blender but they all just accumulate at the bottom??? Maybe i was supposed to cook them first?? i dont ****in know!! LOL
    I eat 1/4 cup for breakfast. Seems a bit less than everybody else.

    I know what you mean. i get choked occasionally drinking that protein/ oatmeal blend. Its the tiny pieces of oatmeal at the bottom of the blender. It helps if I blend the oatmeal with hot liquid or let them soak in the container for awhile. Its actually quite nice having warm oatmeal porridge with banana...

    i may be strange here, but i actually love the crushed oats at the bottom of the blender in my protein shake. i think they taste great cause they have some protein merged in with it and they are chewing but not too chewing.
