100's
I did 100's (dbs) for reps today on bench. Just turned 45 and wasn't sure that would ever happen again. Just a personal motivator, and thought I'd post and say hello as well. Great website/forum btw. Bob

Welcome and congratulations. Just another proof that age has nothing to do with your limitations. You are only limited by your own dedication level (low or high) and your heart.

Welcome Bob
I'm hoping to get into some heavy dumbell pressing soon. Currently only pressing barbell.
 Impressive pressing BTW.

At first I thought you said you'd done 100 reps with DBs, and I thought "What for?" Then I realized you were using 100lb DBs -- great job! I love flat DB presses.

You whippersnappers make me laugh my head off when you talk about "turning 45" or even younger ages, as if this is old! My friend at 60 years of age I handle a pair of 100 pound dumbells in the bench for reps and there are guys in my gym around 65 who are managing more weight than that.

Carl that is outstanding. I wasnt saying it to brag or act like I was the strongest person around. Weight we use is all relative, as Im sure you know. Thanks for all the nice comments guys...Bob

Excellent job! My best is 85 for reps. Nice work on the 100's. Gives me a little more to aspire to.

Hi Bob, I was'nt intimating that you were bragging but just that many guys on this forum, including a number in their thirties and forties, talk as if they are getting old and I find that very funny because in fact they are exaggerating the significance of their age on their ability to attain their muscle and strength gains. Regards, Carl
