To all those who have very strict diets...do you stick to it today or cheat just for the holiday?

turkey's got a lot of protein! and mashed potatoes got nitrogen and fibers and carbs!

Well, Thanksgiving isn't over yet. It's only 2:35 in the afternoon here. But I definitly plan on "cheating" today. But I've planned my entire week around today, so it won't screw me up at all. I don't like depriving myself 24/7. And besides, dinner is going to taste great tonight, since I am doing ALL of the cooking.

Re:
I've been cheating all day today. You really think I'd pass up Thanksgiving? Hell no!

I wouldn't consider eating turkey cheating. You won't get me near any carbs, though! Fats and proteins for me!
BTW, I'm still counting calories, protein, carbs, and fat today. I always carb-up on the weekends so who cares? The middle of the road, is tryin to find me

I cheated, horribly… I had about a half a loaf of corn bread then half a loaf of zucchini bread, then on the healthier side I had a **** load of turkey and finally 5 bottles of water. Dessert is in a little bit, I’m not sure if I’m going to part take.

Re:
I just finished my dinner. I had turkey breast, yams, mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, peach cobbler, coconut custard pie, pecan pie, green bean cassarole, rolls and red wine .
Let's just say this was my best cheat day.Witt

I cheated and I am proud of it! My last hoorah before wrestling season.
A king may move a man, a father may claim a son. But remember that, even when those who move you be kings or men of power, your soul is in your keeping alone. When you stand before God you cannot say "but I was told by others to do thus" or that "virtue was not convenient at the time." This will not suffice. Remember that.

I ate a lot more than I did last year. I have recently been trying foods that I have never eaten or just don't like (most of them are really healthy). For example, I had brocolli two days in a row. For Thanksgiving, I had mashed potatoes, turkey, stuffing, two rolls, cranberry cups, strawberries, blueberries, cookies, and water.

I cheated like crazy...but who cares. gotta live life.
Here's what I ate:
turkey- about 8 large slices
mashed potatoes- about 3-4 scoops
stuffing- probably 1 loaf of bread's worth
cranberry sauce- about 1 cup
corn- about 1 cup
3 cups of apple cider
2 slices of pumpkin pie
1 slice of chocolate mousse pie
1 bowl of ice cream
random cheese and crackers prior to the meal
all of this was consumed from around 6pm until 10pm (i had 2 thanksgiving meals)
i probably ate around 7000 calories!!!..LOLThe Chronicles of Gibblets
