Starting Football in a couple of weeks
Hiya
Stats: 26, 6"1', about 19 stones
Sort of two questions really
1) There are going to be try outs for positions and I'm interested in going for Linebacker (outside) and maybe tight end. What makes a good Tight End/Linebacker and have you got any tips. I've playyed before but I just want to get a fresh perspective.
2) The routine I'm trying is the pigskin power that I found via a link. I have to say that I did the legs workout on Tuesday and I'm still feeling sore. I can honestly say that I've never worked out my legs so much and I can feel the ache every time I walk/move.
Just so that you know, I did
24" Box Jumps (Except didn't have a box, so marked 24" and jumped high)
Squats
Deadlifts
Lunges (My legs were really wobbling at this stage)
Speed Cleans (although I wasn't quite sure if my form was right..so for future, I'll keep it light till I get it right).
Kept the wieghts at around the 30kg wieght as I didn't want to crazy and just wanted to get to grips with the different exercises. Will prob up the weights tomorow.
I'm primarly going for strength rather than mass at this time.
P.S - Whats a good sub for Bicep Curl??
