I have been checking my body temp the last few weeks and it is consistently in the mid to high 95 range. Occasionaly it will get to a blazing mid 96 degrees. This is checking it in the morning. I have been eating upwards of 3000 or more calories a day the last few weeks to try to get my temperature up but it dosen't seem to be doing much. I only weigh 165 soaking wet in the middle of the day. I have a very slow metabolism and have cut for a while to get to this. But, despite some fat gain my body temperature still won't move.
I have always had cold hands and feet and this is very true now. Much much cooler than the rest of my body and everyone elses. I also find that about 10 hours of sleep is what my body likes to get and I could get even more if I would allow myself too.
Any suggestions, should I go see a doctor? Is there anything I can do to try to help this. My temperature was 95.5 this morning as it often is. That is just scary. I check it with a digital thermometer.

Is your thermometer accurate? Your temp. can fluctuate a little from day to day but 95 seems a little low. If you are that worried then go see your doctor.

I would definitely see a doctor but I would check your thermometer for accuracy also.

Yeah I plan on picking up a new thermometer, but it can't be off that much can it?

Doctors are ****, all they'll do is prescribe you pills which lead to hair loss..fix your thyroid by eating nuts and fats. I had the same temp, I ate a whole box of mixed nuts, the morning after it was at 97.9, happy as hell. Unfortunatly it went down again the week after I went into another cut.

Are You Taking It In The Ear Or Orally? Under The Arm Pit Is The Most Accurate. The Symptoms Are Classic Thyroid(hypo). But I'm Always Cold (hands And Feet) And Mine Is Fine. Its' Hard To Say. Won't Hurt To Have It Checked

Keep in mind that you need to subract 1.5 degrees if you take your temp in the armpit, subract one if you do it under the tongue, and do nothing if its in the butt.
