So as you may know I went to my first professional fitness/bodybuilding/figure competition a few weeks ago. I'm filming a documentary on my goal to become a Figure competitor.
Well atleast that's what I thought my goal was before I went to the competition.
While there I felt that the figure women were all too lean and did not have the sort of muscular development that I love to see in competitive body sports.
Where I did see the body type I desire was in the bodybuilding and fitness comeptitors. Fitness is a goal for sure, but I have no dance/gymnastics experience and I have no rhythm. but even thoguh i am 34 years old I think I can get be taught a routine. THIS IS NOT MY POINT.
lol
My point is their body types, the muscle, is is closer to what I am seeking as a goal.
NOW
My friends, family, and cameraman all say that look is not achievable without steroids.
Hmmmm
ok
fine
so should that be a barrier to my goal?
I don't know, but I do know I want to be informed and have a decent amount of information on it before I decide.
So let's say I decided, that it's worth it to do the steroids.
I have asthma and am clinically depressed. I am in remission on the depression but still not sure if there is a specific kind of steroid I should stay away from.
How long would I have to take the steroids to achieve the look I want? For instance do I take them 4 months out from competition? like say starting next March 2008?
Are they all injectibles or are their any pills instead. Me no like needles.
What are some of the immediate side effects?
I know some of the long term side effects, but is that only if you take the steroids long term?
What about the dreaded growing of the large penis looking clitoris that happens to women on steroids? is that with ALL steroids? or only certain kind? Is that only after long term usage or is it possible to occur after 3 months of use?
OBVIOUSLY i have ALOT of questions about this subject, so any help anyone can give me is great.
And if anyone, particularly female, has used steroids before I would really love if you give me some advice.
Thanks
Vicki

Firstly you need to lose a lot of BF, steroids will not help you do this.
Exercise and proper diet will.
Once you are down to your target weight and are a more advanced trainee, then you can consider steroids, but IMO, you do not need them to achieve what you want to achieve.
Losing weight is not in pill form and doesn?t happen over night, years of hard training and dieting is what is required, if you don?t have the will to do what is required, forget steroids, you will just be putting your health more at risk than it already is.
Go to the fatloss section and ask them for advice.
