I was having the same problem for a while (and sometimes still do). My first problem was with total calories. . . but I find that the reason it happens sometimes now is usually my macros. If I undercut my carbs one day I'm starving ALL day the next day.
Veggies are also really good for snacking on if you're really hungry. Lots of insoluble fiber to keep you full. Unfortunately, they can also cause bloating and other digestive "issues" if you eat enough of them. . . as I found out the hard way.

Make sure you are eating balanced meals, containing complete protein and complex carbs.
Might give ChromeMate a try. It's a great supplement that I recommend to my e-clients for cravings.

if you're making a lifestyle change "just dealing" with being hungry all the time is going to work against you. . . it's much harder to stick to something that is uncomfortable or unpleasant. . . make sure you're meeting all of your nutritional needs or you'll end up sabotaging yourself

I wait 1 1/2 hrs and eat a grilled chicken but I also go to bed at 9:00 or 9:30. I weigh 124 lbs and I'm 5/2. I want to lose body fat and GAIN MUSCLE. What workout routine would work best for me? How much cardio? Also, should I make some changes in my diet?

You should be taking in more carbs in the morning, your blood sugar levels drop overnight. I get very hungry when I eat less than 700 cal in my first 5 hours after waking. I can't eat a very large breakfast so I eat 400 cal (high carbs) when I get up and 300 cal (high protein) 2 hours later.

I'll try eating more carbs in the morning. Thanks!

Hmm I woul d have recommended more carbs after your workout to facilitate muscle growth. I know your going to bed at 9 but your body needs the carbs if you want to build muscle. You are having low GI carbs directly after your workout when your body needs carbs the most. I would go with some sipmle carbs right after your workout then consume a complex carb about an hour later. Ms Fit should be able to give you some good advice...

If you're hungry...eat. Your body is telling you something. Water, water, water and plenty of vegetables. The fiber and the water will help keep you fuller, longer. Incoporate protein, healthy fats and complex carbs in every meal. Try to comsume 20-30% of your calories in the morning. Your body has fasted for at least 6 hours and you need to replenish nutrients.
If you are having chocolate cravings, there is no harm in having one piece of DARK chocolate per day (Dove chocolates are ideal). If one doesn't do it for you, take a Magnesium supplement every day. This will help curb the chocolate craving. It has also been said that red meat will curb the chocolate craving, but I would rather take a Magnesium supplement than overload on red meats.
At least a gallon of water per day. Guaranteed, quite a few times, when we feel hungry, we are actually thirsty. On the same note, by the time we recognize that we are thristy, we are already 2-3% dehydrated. That much of a depletion in water begins the catabolization process of our muscles. Our muscles are made up of 80% water so if you skimp on the H2O, your muscles will catabolize and you don't want that. Water also flushes out toxins. Don't overlook the benefits of water.
By looking at your daily food intake, I would say that you WILL be hungry every two hours after you eat. There is nothing wrong with that. I eat every two hours because that is when my body tells me I'm hungry. I drink a gallon of water each day and I take in 130 grams of protein.

Quick question-- how long have the cravings been going on?
-

I've been having the cravings ever since I stopped eating like crap. I used to eat ice cream, cookies, cakes, all the "good stuff". It's been about 6 months now. I completely changed my diet. I'm good most of the time, but I HAVE TO HAVE peanut butter every day. I eat 1 or 2 tbspns a day. Sometimes, I can't control myself and end up eating more than what I should.

I have the same problem.
Things I find that help are drinking ALOT Of water to make my stomach feel full. Especially I feel I am about to overeat.
Drinking something hot, especiall tea or green tea. It makes you feel fuller.
Stop eating once you think youve eaten enough and go and brush your teeth.
Good Luck
Its very hard to beat over eating but nothing is impossible to acheive. Especially if you really want to achieve it

Try this: Challenge yourself to limit peanut butter to a few times a week--succeed this and within time it will be like you never had peanut butter cravings
Did you know it takes the body 21 times to recognize a new behavior as a form of habit-- the body is acting on what it knows right now--slowly change your habit... give self reasons not to have peanut butter and these cravings will slowly subside
example reason---
if I limited pb i could be in great shape withinn 2 months versus 6-8 months.
We need to see how your body will respond to limited/minimal quantities of pb
a good worksheet you may want to consider regarding how to change eating habits go to http://www.cookingwithflavors.com/avrel.html

I can only hope, by writing this, i am not setting a bad example..... And i write this only because i have found challenges are best handled head on...
I know this sounds absurd--but what i've done on a few occassions, when challenged with chocolate cravings, is put an un-opened favorite candy bar in the freezer---I'd literally go out of my way to open the freezer door, look at the candy bar and sometimes even pick it up-- and say, NOPE--some other day. I did this because i wanted to hurry and get my mind reconditioned--sounds absurd i know--but it worked every time.
Sure there may have been a few times where i opened the wrapper, even took a tiny bite--but the thing is this--by the end of the 21 time rule the candy bar was either more than 90% intact or I'd simply forget about it.
Instead of waiting for the craving to come to me I'd go to it and confront it. I personally find the result of this method to work much better then running from the craving... or acting like it doesnt exist...
Sure you want to eat--but you want to eat those foods that keep your body at optimum working order--and everyone is different.. and i think its great to trial and error--how else will you know what works best for you... and a challenge is always good for the soul...
Sure cravings may indicate a lack of something but in most cases its either a sugar high that wont stop or a simple old comfort zone.
REL it if you have to

I recently read something somewhere where it talked about cravings and tiredness. Many times I want to snack right before bed....Now I'll be the first to admit I never seem to get enough sleep. (I know, I know I KNOW how bad that is) but after reading that when I start to crave soemthing (I have to walk through the kitchen to get to my bedroom) I remind myself that I am not really hungry I am just tired and I need to go to BED!!!!!!!!!!!! It has worked for the past few nights anyway. We'll see what happens when my period comes around!!!

Sometimes when I eat, I feel like I need something sweet afterwards. Of course, I don't snack on candy bars or anything that's bad for you, but I'm always craving something sweet around my monthly.....You know what does it? A small sweet potatoe.
