Nice....My family already donated money and blood. People here are very giving so there should be no worries about help. Also part of the group that helped out in 9/11 from my province went down last thrusday to help out. My dad knew 2 of the guys. Great guys and very qualified.

yeah, you asked me about the cleans the other day. my clean form is really horrible and I don't think would be worth the exchange.
glad to hear that the folks in NO have some good help coming to them. They certainly need it.
Chest
15 min stationary bike
Flat BB press 325x2, 315x2
Incline DB press 110x6, x6, x5
Dips (BW+100) x8, x6
5 min treadmill @ 5% incline
15 min IBUR, 2% incline, 4.5 mph/7.7 mph
Total lifting time: 20 min
Comments
So, flat presses were just horrible. I had planned on doing 3x3 with 325, but I just wasn't strong today. Maybe it was an off day, or maybe it is a side effect of the Melting Point. Time will tell. Still pissed, though. Inclines and dips were okay. Nothing special. Thinking about taking some longer rest periods, since I am finishing all of my workouts in 20-30 min...which is just not necessary. IBUR went really well.$157 billion creates 650,000 jobs = $240,000 cost to create or save 1 job

i don't time the rest periods, i just try not to wait too long. I'd guess that my rest periods for today's workout were ~3 minutes each...but for some reason I take forever to recover, so I need more like 10 minutes for presses if I want to push good weight.

Pretty good workout today. Low back started to cramp during IBUR, so I cut it short. Squats were nice. First set used a pretty narrow stance and were pretty tough. Second set, used a bit of a wider stance and was much easier. Felt a pop in my back on the 2nd rep of the 2nd set accompanied by and audible "pop"...so I decided not to do a 3rd set, since the last thing I need is to reaggravate my low back. Legs are fried, esp the hams.

yeah GFK, I've had a lot of experience with stuff popping and moving around in my spine while squatting and 9 times out of 10 it results in some sort of sprain/strain injury that puts me down for at least 2 weeks. A lot of times, in the past, I would shift my weight to one side and my hips would rotate to that side, then something would pop and I'd be fcked. Today, there was no leaning or rotating and I normally get stiff a few hours after working out. I'm somewhat stiff, but nothing major...so I'm not worried about it.
See, I'd rather do IBUR before legs than IBUR after legs. Plus, I have big legs as it is...I really don't need them to get any bigger until my upper body catches up.$157 billion creates 650,000 jobs = $240,000 cost to create or save 1 job
