Take your time man. I dont concern myself with my bodyfat or muscle growth, since I powerlift/sprint, and believe it or not, overtime I just get leaner and add muscle without even focusing on it! Of course......I'm maintaining my weight as I train, so I probably add muscle and lose fat at the same time. Its cool, I went from barely 4 abs to a pretty defined 6 abs, but i still have a problem getting the bottom two to split.
To be honest, I'd try to maintain your weight, and over the duration of some months, lift hard and hit cardio at a reasonable amount. 3 hours 30min is a lot, unless you're not in that high of an intensity range.

Well it depends on how much you do in one session. 30-45 minutes is a good amount. I wouldn't recommend anything over that or you'll risk burning up muscle instead of fat. Be sure to take care of pre/post workout nutrition and you'll be fine.
Be sure to keep your diet in check too. Also, do you lift weights? If you seriously wanna drop some fat, cardio + weights + diet = fastest, healthiest fat loss possible.
Good luck dude,
