http://www.irongame.com/videos/TomPl...Exhibition.wmv
Perfect combination of musculature and power. Nasty, nasty, nasty.

He makes squatting 500# for 23 reps look like a warm up set.

I always loved his old squatting session stories. Platz was intense as hell on leg day, He even gives Lee priest a run for his money.

Question.....when you guys squat, do you drop down as fast as he does on the negative? Mine is a lot slower. I'm not questioning Tom's authority on how to squat, obviously.....I'm just wondering if I'm the one who's doing it wrong.

He was seeing how many he could do, not set an example on technique.

Lats: I go much slower on the negatives, but of course, I don't have that inhuman weight resting on my shoulders!

Judging from pics I've seen of him taken recently, not much heavy lifting anymore. He's totally shrunk down. He was into a bit of acting 5 or 6 years ago.
Have you searched to see if he's got a homepage? The man is a legend, he ought to have one.

He does seminars for ISSA he's a nice guy, and was willing to talk about anything BB related after the seminar. He had some funny stories about working out with Arnold, and he's always making sure his hair is in place. He's kinda small now, he said he had some leg problems and only recently has he been able to rep over 300 again.

He was critised for years on Body Mag forums and letters re his leg development. I think he was awesome. There was a photo of him in the leg area of the gym that I went to and it just showed you by the movie that he did them all with hard work ( and of course a little other help). One of the true masters. We say sometimes in the gym to go out on legs is to ' Platz it out".
