(I tried Nitro Jet awhile back, but didn't write a review because the BB.COM owners threatened me to not talk about Black Star Labs. Since that time, the board has decided to carry their product line...)

Flavor: "Red Citrus Storm"

Price: $ 28.99

Mixability: Mixability is ok, kind of flaky

Taste: I have a pretty high taste tolerance... and this stuff tastes NASTY !. It is so bad that I only took a few servings. I literally have to force myself not to puke it back up, that's how acidic it is. I tried chasing it with lemonade or fruit punch, which seemed to help a bit.

The good news: The good news is that the product simply WORKS. The ingredients are SOLID, and there is no denying that they are effective at that dosage.

when you say it lives up to clames, what exactly are you reffering to, it increases protein synthesis esentially, so how would you know, not trying to disbelieve at all just trying to understand what exactly it does and weither(sp?) it's worth the dough. Btw look forward to more posts and reviews on this product.

its a very cheap product and if I can get some elaboration on it I would like to maybe go with it vs. Xtend or something

Seriously, Nitrojet is one of the best supplements for increasing strength and protein synthesis and decreasing catabolism. I personally would mix 2 servings in 20 ounces of water with 30 grams of Vitargo (or carbohydrate of your choice). Then drink half 20 minutes preworkout and the other half during your workout. Then have 1 serving with a little carb on non training days.

Is great while cutting.

Give the stuff about 30 minutes to fully dissolve... so mix it ahead of time.

I took this product quite a while ago (even BEFORE I wrote this review), which is important because now there are NUMEROUS other EAA products available that MIGHT be more cost effective and I'm not the biggest Kre (standalone) fan..... however take a closer look at the NitroJet ingredients and you'll see what's so special about NitroJet.

As far as I know, when it came out it was one of the first products to combine all of the following (IN ADDITION to the EAA's):

L-Arginine
Kre-Alkalyn
Betaine
Inositol Hexaphosphate
Alpha Keto-Glutaric Acid
Phosphotidylserine

So, to answer your question, the key here is that this was (at the time) one of the few products I had used that made a noticable difference in recovery and training.

i seem to remember BSL not being advertised much (kept getting censored out).
and then the cyberstore picked up the line.
i like GO! and Osmolyte, but haven't tried Nitro Jet yet, even tho that has always been on my back-burner to-do list.

but if u said it tastes nasty, i may have to look into another product.

It doesn't taste all that bad. It's better than Vendetta (both flavors) and better than ICE, IMO. But, it doesn't taste liek candy either.

Ok it loks like out of NitroJet, All in One, and Vendetta, Nitrojet has the smallest amount(350g) but the most servings.. Out of the 3 and doing my research on all of them ingredients wise, I think I am going with NitroJet...

I also dont thing I need to use a seperate BCAA product when I am using a EAA product either.. One or the other will do..
