Your rear double bi excels much more than the rest of your poses, great upper back man! you also have the same problem as me with not being able to get the definition in the lower part of your abs, anyone got any tips on that for us? By the way ZMN how much do you weigh?

hey
I'm 15 years old and I want to start posing. I have been lifting since I was 9 but I dont know anything about weightloss and defenition. I am 5'10 and I weigh 185. I am the strongest at my 5a highschool in ninth grade. I bench 275, squat 350, powerclean 285. I need help on becoming a body builder though.

hey thanks,
i wasnt as tight as id liked to be however that was my first diet down so i was happy enough with the results considering i used to weigh 255 and at that show i weighed in at 175
as for right now i weigh about 210 and im not too far from where i was at contest (abs are somewhat shallow)
and about getting your lower abs in, i think that its a matter of dieting again and again getting leaner each time

hey bro, congrats making the commitment to do a show, stepping onstage and getting it done. Great job on the cut from 255 down to 175, that is awesome!
Looking good bro, but definitely need to be leaner if you want to be more competitive. Goodluck and keep up the great work!

I think that for ab definition people put too much emphasis on bodyfat and too little on the actual muscle size. While it is true that you won't see your abs if you have too much fat, you also will have trouble seeing them if they aren't big enough. Abs are just like any other muscle, so to get them to grow bigger, you need to train them like other muscles. I don't do any traditional crunches, I only train abs once a week (3 sets of 8-10 on cable crunches and 2 sets of 8-10 on leg lifts all to failure) and can see my abs very clearly at about 12% bodyfat.
Good job, though by the way! You look awesome and are incredibly strong for 15. Just imagine what you'll be like when you're 20 if you keep at it.

Losing 80 lbs, damn thats commited dieting! so are you 210 now at the end of a bulk or are you pretty cut? i'm looking to get to 200lbs staying cut as everywhere but the lower abs i'm pretty well toned at my weight right now. Just at the start of a bulk so i can eat nice carbs again after 6 weeks off, gotta cut out the crap this time tho no cookies and crisps then i wont have as much work to do to cut. i've been hearing that a carb is not a carb tho and they have different values, i read somewhere rice and potatoes have high values and are more likely to me stored as fat than used for energy and so help muscle growth where as carb high foods with low values are less likely to be stored as fats. I dont remember what these values were called, i've been looking for it again all night! you or anyone else know anything about this?

It says he's 19 by his name, rebel beast was the 15 year old, and for a 15 year old they were some awesome stats, i was nowhere near that at 15 and am only around those marks now. My lower ab problem is definately the fat, i train ab muscles hard and they're solid its just that i cant see em unless i tense and i still have the annoying fat at the bottom! grrrr i came from 195 to 182 good def everywhere but there, so annoying!

Honestly, you look pretty good, but not competition ready. I also think you were a bit higher than 8%. Maybe 10-11. At 8% abs are usually visable without flexing abs, or with minimal flexing. You looked as though your legs had some nice mass, but traps/chest lacked behind. Overall you looked pretty good, but next time I'd try to come out a little leaner, closer to 5-6%. The only people I know that compete around 6-8 are young teens(14-17) because their bodies can't handle lower like the pros.

my body fat is quite a bit lower than that and i consider myself around 12 percent, so i dunno, take that for what it's worth.
All i can say i keep working hard and keep at it, and every time it will get better and better.
Also before your next comp i'd come on here and get a diet and routine checked out and down pat.
